This is a much bigger gap than PS2>PS3. It is almost real life.

I still remember everyone thinking the next gen hardware was disappointing, well... :D

Compare the best looking 3D PS1 game to God of War 3 (2 generations jump) that will give you a similar scale...

Still, UC4 looks amazing and I can't wait to play it!

BTW uncahrted 1 looks better than showed pic. PS4 version looks phenomenal. But uncharted 1 was no slouch either.
