Slowly after my ps4 upgrade i find it hard to turn on the ps3. Even the plus games i cant be bothered to download just because of the thought of the sluggish ui that i had lived with perfectly fine for nearly a decade. It has come to a point where i am intending to buy both the last of us and gta v once again just to be free of the hazzle. In the back of my mind i know that it is certifiably stupid but im certain i cant be the only one in this day and age that values convenience above price. Does anyone here feel the same? And if so,  may science help us. 

Same here, GT6 was the last game i could get through. Even free games on plus i cant bother with.

Can't be. It's impossible to have higher standards after presented with a better experience.
That's why PS3 UI is still awesome and last gen graphics are absolutely legit.

Without Backwards Compatibility, it makes no sense to me that you could just drop the PS3. I mean, it has so many great titles on it still and the UI isn't that bad. Still go back to the PS2 and N64 from time to time to play older games infact.

Well of course not entirely..  If the next uncharted or Gta were only on last gen i would of course buy it anyhow.. They have to be excellent not just good for me to care at this point. I find it difficult to explain this to people that doesnt feel the same.  Either they do or they dont.

Also with the backwards compability i think of it like the ps1 titles on psn.  I would rather have them on 1 system.  Of course some ps3 titles have become instant classics for me aswell that i want to revisit.  Thankfully playstation now is supposed to help with this so if journey,  uncharted,  fallout,  etc is compatible with that then they got themselves a subscriber as long as the price will be about the same as plus.
