But I hear piracy is ungodly popular in china however. I mean like mainstream/more well known than the IPOD type of popular. Like people dont even consider buying non modded systems. And certain places you just pretty much buy consoles premodded. Thats insane, I dont know if it will be easy for a console to breakout into a market that is used to paying 2$~ for any full game they want.

Nintendo sells it's hardware at a profit so it's less of an issue for them. They would still get taken to the woodshed on software, but they still could make a bundle on hardware.
