Forums - Sony Discussion - Confirmed – Batman: Arkham Knight’s Demo During Sony’s Conference Was Running On PC

Meh... I trust Rocksteady.

People only care when Microsoft does it.

is this even news? Unless you see the game running off a PS4/XB1 with menus and stuff just assume its running off a PC. And thats not in anyway a bad thing. These games are all compiled on PC of sorts and only debuged on the dev console. During a show, to avoid issues, its best to have your best build of the game to show. It really doesn't matter.

It's not a bad thing except for the fact that the extreme PS fans like to call out Xbox fans every time something like this happens in MS camp. So why not call out Sony fans for the same thing?

No matter how you look at it, they are lying to their customers. This really should be a big deal.

But no one cares anymore :/

Didn't people make a huge deal last year at E3 when it was thought that MS was running their games on pc as well? But I guess when Sony does it, its no longer a big deal...

Welcome to Gamrconnect!  And Kotaku, and Neogaf and etc, etc, etc ...

I don't understand what this has to do with Sony. 3rd parties naturally want to show off their games in the best light so they'll use use footage from the strongest PC imaginable.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

The thing is, many have made a huge deal in the past for Microsoft doing it. I for one don't care either way (I am not really that picky as long as it looks similar to the PC version and plays well), but I will say ya, this will most likely not be a big deal.

Again, this a publisher decision. It has nothing to do with Sony or Microsoft.

i have serious doubts that the call of duty in ms conference was running on an xbox one too, the dof and per object motion blur was too accurate to be any of the current gen consoles.
