Cool. We all knew this was coming, we just wasn't sure exactly when. So 1080p regularly then now on Xbox one. Cool.

It didn't bother me anyway but good to know we have 1080p with games like destiny, battlefield, call of duty etc.

Diablo 3 is 900p on Xbox One.

Yeah shame Diablo 3 doesn't benefit from new sdk. Still I don't really care that much. Looking forward to Diablo 3 on Xbox one. :)

Battlefield Hardline aiming to run At 1080p/60fps On Xbox One - parity with ps4 version

Battlefield Hardline is already confirmed to be running at 1080p and 60fps on the PlayStation 4, so where does that leave the Xbox One version? Ian confirmed to us, that ‘it should be the same.’

“If you look at the games that Visceral Games has made before, we have always strive for total parity between our platforms,” Ian explained. “Of course, the PC version, it will do whatever your PC can handle, and the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions will obviously not be as high res as compared to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version. But those two [PS4 and Xbox One] should be locked in together.”

No Kinect + New SDK, could make a difference, should make a difference, would make a difference, but once again I'll believe it when I see it. Its not like resolution would make you buy it on another platform anyway, but just like those who after three days of mario kart sales decided that the XB1 would be dead last and that the PS4 and Wii U would be "duking it out" the rest of the year, I don't buy it not for one second, they hope to achieve parity, and if they ended up gimping the game to do that then  that is there loss, its like the general consesus was impressed with Hardline's graphics anyway.

From what I read res was an edram size issue at launch. Now the sdk fixed that.

Anyhow like I said I don't really care. But I expect based on what I read all 3rd party games to be basically the same on Xbox one now. But even if it isn't i couldn't care less. I still get to play great exclusives and lots of dlc months before other platforms.

I don't believe everything I read.

PS4  has just as much exclusive content support if not better than that of the XB1 most if not all of what is shared between the two run better on the PS4. Just because of brand loyality there is no reason to be ignorant of the competition.

Easy man. Why are you being so aggressive?

i don't really care to much about res as long as the game looks great.

Moving forward a lot of devs are coming forward and saying thanks Microsoft for the new sdk. Now they can do parity.

thats great news for Xbox one.

as for the dlc stuff, games I play and like to play online are dlc on Xbox first.

battlefield, call of duty, evolve, FIFA 15, assassins creed were announced at e3 2014.

Still probably get a ps4 at some point, but I'll wait for more exclusive titles to actually come out. I'm not interested in lbp ( I have project spark ) and drive club would never be played with horizon 2 out. So we will see.

but don't get aggressive bro. It's opinion. I'm sure there are people who don't like sunset overdrive, horizon 2 halo and ori and the blind forest. So won't be getting Xbox one.

its just plastic dude.

Parity is a pipe dream. But at the end of the day play the games you want.

Just because I'm skeptical, I'm also aggressive? Sorry I don't beleive everything I'm told, I used to believe MS when they said Xbox One was Kinect.

I don't care what the devs say, they'll say w.e they want to sell more copies, even if DF says its not 1080p since the Devs said they were aiming for it rather than confirming it, no one will be able to say they lied.

Neither Battlefield nor Fifa 15 was at MS's E3, Battlefield has exclusive content and exclusive beta only on PS4, Assassins Creed has no exclusive content for one platform just a limited edition collection.

I do not care about your console preference. I'm merely informing you so you aren't ignorant of the fact, PS4 and XB1 are basically equal, other than the fact that the XB1 is weaker in hardware, a gap that I doubt even the god tier SDK can close, devs have been shown to lie on multiple occasions, I want to see an objective analysis before people start cheering at parity.
