It's not like Black people are the only ones called Nigger either. In highschool I was called Nigger a few times. Oddly by black people. I didn't know... i really have no clue why.

I guess because I was somewhat friends with this one black kid that I think they knew. In schools with a very small black group they can sometimes get pretty angry and segregational for whatever reason.  I remember another day a guy came up to me who i didn't know and said "I don't like white people." to which i replied.  "Oooook" and kept walking.

Of course i couldn't blame them some people were racists just to get in with a certain group. I used to have a friend... and he'd play nothing but the Men In Black soundtrack all freaking summer... nothing but the Will Smith song and the Snoop Dogg song. Then suddenly come school time he's a racist who "would never buy Nigger shit."

Our homecoming king was black. Though some people voted for him because they thought it'd be funny if a black guy won. It was probably just the minority though as the guy was really popular... he did upset another kid though.

The guys twin brother wasn't too proud of him though. Didn't consider him "black enough" I remember the last day of school were hanging out grilling in the school parking lot with him and he said he had a tough time at the school because he was "The only real black guy" at the school... despite you know, having the twin. Never got what he meant by that since other then being a lot more serious he didn't seem to do anythign that different.

Just for the record Robert E. Lee was against slavery and thought it was against slavery. Though he did have some weird views on it.

He only sided with the south because he believed in states rights and thought if the North won the south would in many ways be slaves to the north or that the whole country would just be slaves to the government.

Also, had America lost the revolutionary war slavery would of been abolished there. It already was abolished by the English during the revolutionary war.

So if you think he was a racist you should feel the same way about people like John Adams and many other nothern state revolutionists who found slavery immoral and thought it should be illegal.

Robert E Lee actually saw it more as a sin on the white person then the black person.  Probably do to the whole "physical life" vs "Afterlife" thing.

I can't POSSIBLY know what it's like to be discriminated against because I'm not BLACK. Why I'm sure that having threats sent to close down the college Anime and gaming club I'm in despite the fact that we're th elargest and most active club in the campus isn't a form of discrimination at all, so I can't possibly know what it's like.

I'm sure I was never discriminated against for being smarter than everyone else in my school when I was growing up (and seriously, I was, I'm not just spouting off)

I've been in the minority as a white kid in a primarily black school. I've been around black people, on both sides; the ones who have made something respectible out of their lives and the ones who are gutter trash. The ones who have made something out of their lives, sure they might find the term insulting, but they shrug it off. Why? They've made something of themselves and nigger as an insult doesn't apply to them, and only shows the stupidity of the person trying to insult them with it.

I've been picked on and called names, and I've dealt with it both ways. One way works, ignoring it and turning it around on them, the other way, being offended and getting worked up about it does nothing.

If you think that there's anything I "can't understand" simply because of the color of my skin, then you've only fallen into the whole victimized view that buys that bullcrap.

"Nobody understands me because I'm different!" it's amazing how everyone seems to love saying this no matter what color they are.

And Robert E Lee was correct on that matter, too. It's a shame that Lincoln is heralded as such a great President when his actions set us up to lose a whole lot of rights over the years. Though the Civil War and the period before it were messy either way.

But yeah, anyone who thinks he was a racist or pro-slavery knows nothing, and is obviously willing to make baseless assumptions just because they have a general idea of what a person was involved in, rather than who they were.

Nigger - Old word meaning "Useless". Seeing as slave owners aren't normally the nicest people in the world, it's understandable that they would call their slaves that. Not right, but understandable.

Now, fast forward 200 years, and the word is a fucking joke. It's racist, but it can also mean a term of unity. When someone uses the word "Niggardly", just an extension of the original use, that's apparently racist. I can barely take it seriously anymore, but I suppose I'm lacking the bit of understanding about being on the pointy end of a racist stick.

So lesson? If you want to call someone a nigger, just call them useless. It means the exact same thing. And, if you wish to insult someone on the basis of their race, no matter what you say, it's being racist.

No seriously, i'd say it was a cultural difference. They're whole religion is basically based around the fact that "Crap is going to happen, we're going to get treated horribe but it will all work out in the end."

The white male is the largest victim of racism in today's society, it's true.

As a White male i am denied entrance to college because of affirmative action, some kid barely pulling a 2.0 gets into my college of choice because he hasa different skin tone.

One time i had a teacher who wouldn't let us call people "black" or "mexican" but only african American, or Latino American. She then blatantly calls me white, now why should i be able to be called white, but not call others black? that in itself is racism. I stood up and told her i want to be called "scottish italian american" because that was my family heritage, Blacks are no more "african american" then i am "scottish italian american" but it's ok to call me white and not ok to call them black.

If you ever want to make a club at a school, it is ok to make a black club at anytime, however if you make a caucasion club it will never get passed.

Ever hear of Black History month? a caucasion history month would never be possible because it is deemed "racist"

If you hire a black person to work at your store, it is nearly impossible to get them fired because at anytime if he claims racist he wil lget whatever he wants, i know it soudns crazy but its true, i've experienced this.

The same thing occurs in movies. In what i call black movies, every member of the cast is black except for 1 white guy who is usually portrayed as an idiot. go watch any one of these types of movies, you know what i'm talking about.

On TV, almost every news channel will ALWAYS have at least 1 black person, 1 woman, or a combination of both, always, i dare you to find 1 news station that doesn't. This is to be politically correct.

Now comes the issue of financial aid, i need money to pay for college, but since im a white male i am on the bottom of the list, i found that if you are a black-lezbian-woman-retard-on the way to a gender change, you are immortal in getting whatever the heck you want.

I know a lot of this stuff sounds crazy, but it is in fact true, white males are receive the largest amount of racism from other minority groups simply because of what our ancestors did 200 years ago. Yet blacks take the most offense to anything because they can get away with it, if your white you are forced to do nothing because if you lash out against a black person being racist to you, he will file racism on you instead and get you in prison.

I have dealt with this racism for nearly 20 years, 20 years. I remain quiet and nice to anyone, i support black people who actually work hard and have jobs, and i support them when they aren't your typical guy from the ghetto.

I can see why eventualyl most white people crack after dealing with racism for so long. Once those people crack then the black people get more offended and the cycle continues indefinately. 

Jews control everything. That's why the US and Israel are such kiss buddies, they're both run by Jews. Hopefully the rest of the world can break them in again soon.
