Yeah it's kool, I just want snake cause he's the only character I've really played alot in video games that has a chance of making it. Those 4 you mentioned are iconic just not my favs that's all. 

If 10 years ago this was thought impossible I wonder what will be possible another 10 years from now :O

Initial reaction - Oh no, not Pacman. Then I saw the trailer, and the way they've presented the character now has it growing on me. And was that a Pacman stage on the 3DS?

Pacman looks promising, although I'll still miss Snake.

You wait around all day soaking up the feed and then the reveal trailer drops at 10-fucking-pm out of nowhere and you find out from social media. That's extremely annoying.

lol, possibilities are endless? The 4 icons of gaming, i only like Mario+Sonic, but man does Megaman have a huge fanbase. SSB biggest announcement is still Megaman intro last year! I definitely get that people want their favorites but with SSB we have to be realistic. No offense to Sony but this isnt PSASBR (meaning they just add anybody for promotions and leave out the real Allstars). I mean my most requested character (which has a 0.01% chance) wont be in the game :-/

I don't mean to add characters for promotion reason but having some third party characters that aren't necessarily associated with Nintendo would be kool. If they could snap up all the best third party characters that would be amazing. I think Rayman would suit this game

I agree with you, characters such as Rayman, Bomberman (Who Else? lol) would be fantastic as well as Snake's Return, but consider this...

You already kno what this game origins and history is. Before they should include third party characters, they would first need to include their other ones (Ex: Little Mac + Villager needed to be in this game) from Lost or forgotten franchises.

Such as...

Isaac (Golden Sun)

Saki (Sin+Punishment)

Shulk (Xeno Franchise)

Ridley (Metroid)

Takamaru

and many others. But funny thing my most requested character is Geno from Square Enix :0
