Really? Because in an interview Aonuma said it mightactually not be Link, since no-one specifically stated it was him.

Not exactly, it looks what I think it looks like, and obviously we think it looks like two different things because it's only based on an individual observation and interpretation of a visual representation. And then there's other people here that think it looks different to each of our two views as well even. I don't know what you're trying to prove, or why you're so adament about it.

That's like saying that 2+2=256 because that's your own individual observation and interpretation. No. That's factually wrong. 2+2=4. 2+2 will always equal 4. This Link does not resemble SS or TP Link.

There are core, structural, concrete, and factual differences between them. They aren't views. They aren't opinions. This isn't "TP Link looks uglier than new Link." This is "one Link looks like another Link."

Oh, do they? How? Where are the similarities, exactly? What is the objectively the same about them? What concrete features give you enough to come to that conclusion? TP Link has concrete, factual similarities to SS Link. They aren't identical, but they have enough factual identicalities to draw a justifiable comparison. Zelda U Link has none, except vague likenesses like brown hair of any shade, pointy ears, and earings. That is, unless you have any factual proof that he does. Where is your proof.
