Nintendo's conference appealed to those who own a Wii U but won't convince anyone who doesn't.

It convinced me to buy one this holiday or early next year.  Seems like a great complimentary system to my PS4.

What announcement(s) tipped you over the edge there?

most likely smash

Mario Maker was a big one, been wanting that game for 25 years now.

Both Zelda games are looking distinct and very good as a fan of the series.

Smash Bros. seems in line with what I wanted, liked the figurines and ability to add Miis be fun at a party.

Yoshi seems like perfect co-op game with the wife.

Bayonetta including original game as well was a nice touch that has me more interested in that game.

X story trailer has me mor eintereste din its world and characters after being on the fence about it.

Splatoon has great possibilities, but I need to know more about it.

The Kirby game seemed solid as well.

Overall it was a sum of parts to me that Nintendo is committed to making a solid console after concerns they may ignore it after poor sales.  It feels like a Gamecube which I enjoyed a great deal back then.

While I do think Nintendo had the best presentation, they didn't show anything that can fix the sales of the WiiU. They completely ignored the 3DS which is in desperate needs of a sales uptick.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Thank you for explaining.

For Mario Maker, are you familiar with Lunar Magic?

No, I am not.

Mario maker looked very user friendly and liked could look like a NES or Wii U game.

I'd put Nintendo either level or slightly ahead of Sony, with Microsoft slightly ahead of that.

The key is with heavy-hitting titles. Microsoft wins with the Halo overload, as Sony and Nintendo's headliners (Uncharted and Zelda) were too sparse and too far out.

I'd say Nintendo has the strongest lineup for 2014 as a first party, however.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

People are rating them here for official confirmation.

I'm working, but later on I'll update those numbers to included Nintendo ratings.
