Forums - Gaming Discussion - Stunning Zelda screenshots direct from Nintendo

The world looks absolutely beautiful I agree. And the style itself seems like a perfect fit for Zelda, and how it was meant to look back in the NES and SNES days.

I however do hope they're going to have a more impressive shading system on the characters instead of the old boring cell-shading once again...

A sci-fi Zelda with cel shading.

Gee, thanks Aonuma.....

five more years of Ocarina of Time for me it seems....

yep ill be waiting with ya.

they are running the series into the ground.

starting after TP i have not bought a single zelda game on release day.

I find it pretty pathetic to not buy a game purely based on its artstyle.

I thought I'd prefered realistic Zelda graphics, but this is even better. TP was my first Zelda, but I've bought every Zelda since then except the DS ones (don't have a DS).

It looks great, but I'm not that keen on this art style for zelda. Also not a fan of links design.

I may have been just proven wrong.

yes looks exactly the same

so man give up. Just skip the game and watch the rest of us enjoying

Yes it looks nice, but haven't we seen this type of visuals before ?, is obvious they are using that Wind Waker hd engine.

I was hoping for something unique, didn't Nintendo likes to catalog themselves by  that word "Unique experiences" ?, well they are failing on that term.

I was expecting something very different in fact, I was expecting something that NINTENDO shows us originally but it failed hard on that promise.

Its not an exact replica of either skyward sword or wind waker but I agree its not as unique as I was hoping for. It does feels very familiar.

When you buy MK8, you should get WW for free. If you end up loving it, then I would recommend this new Zelda.

already bought WWHD the game was ok, not even close to my favorite Zelda's.

I did not even know how to get the swift sail so the tedium was still there everytime i went in the auction house its a damn pendent.

Zelda has always been a hub based open world wich is very different from this open world theyre talking about here.

They said they are taking insipiration from the original Legend of Zelda, which was indeed an open-world with no hubs and the least linear game in the series. A 3D LoZ is going to be amazing.

I looks like anime.

When I played Ocarna of Time, it looked like fantasy, Heroes 3 or Warhammer style. The older Zeldas also felt like that.

Anime style just ruins it for me. Because it ruins my theater of the mind that I'm used to when playing these games.

Regardless if you find it pathetic or not, it seems the market agrees with me as well. All these new styles accomplished was to decrease sales and split the fanbase.

I LOVE ICELAND!
