As a person with a Asus G750 from 2012 and a older 660M and 16GB of ram. It's still great so what you have is a newer card and should be fine.

The laptop is fine spec wise, but please don't waste an extra $600 getting it from Best Buy.

You can get a laptop with those exact specs for about $1200 including shipping from xoticpc.com. You'd also do better in regards to price from ordering one from Lenovo's website.

I just found out about xocticpc.com last week myself as I am also currently in the market for a new gaming laptop. I've spent hours upon hours scouring the web for the best performance to price ratio and xoticpc seems to be the best, and by quite a large margin over everyone except Lenovo. The problem with Lenovo is that you only get to choose from 4 different models, but their prices are pretty good.
