Don't get me wrong, overall GOOD conference from Microsoft, but lacking anything remotely "surprising". As far as I'm concerned, along with others as well, Microsoft lacked any kind of "megaton" announcement, and everything was essentially predictable.

Combine this with the fact that Sony alledgedly is going to announce 5-6 megatons, as shown by the Tron Kazification easter egg video that was posted prior, and Sony may just be posed to continue it's domination this generation... Personally can't wait to watch their Conference on the big screen at the theater! So, thoughts?

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Microsoft did well, and while they didn't blow it away, Sony may be in the same position.

Can they still win? Sure, if they have the announcements. However, Microsoft did do game after game after game. Destiny alone isn't going to cut it.

CGI wank fest, but most of the showed games were pretty interesting. Sold 7/10 in my book and I'm not even a Microsoft fan.

Sony can blow it easily at this moment. If nothing else, MS brought 90 minutes of pure games. There's no doubt in anyone's mind at this moment that you will not be disappointed with an XBox One this year. Sony may or may not be in the same position, but it remains to be seen in a few hours.

Nope. MS had a good but not great conference. It won't be that easy to beat.

They don't have this in the bag at all. It was a good conference. Sony's might end up being amazing and beat it, but they do not have it in the bag at all.

I think Sony will be in a similar situation. Solid conference with many games, few megatons we don't know about.

That's just the way E3 is these days.

Not getting ahead of myself, but everything Sony has been doing/teasing/announcing shows they are going to most likely have a BIG show this year with a few Megatons. Allot of this I'm banking on the Tron video that was posted teasing some megatons, along with the fact that Sony is packing out 50 theaters across North America streaming their E3. They wouldn't be doing this if they werent expecting an overwhelming postive response from their show, IMO.

I agree that MS's conference was good, but not great. However, I'm not so sure Sony will do any better. A lot of their big titles have already been leaked or heavily rumored. What would be a realistic megaton announcement that would be a complete surprise to people?

Sony can beat it, but it's not in the bag.
