Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo's Digital Event only 30 minutes long?

http://e3.nintendo.com/#2014/treehouse

If it was only 30 minutes, why would e3 Treehouse start at 11.35, over 2 hours after the presentation has ended?

I think this 30 minutes thing is wrong, I think it'll be at least 50 minutes, and there'll be some sort of official post event that takes the whole thing close to an hour and a half.

I thought it was an hour and a half. I need to stop referring to trash sites like playeressense.

I wish it that long!

My expectations for this have dropped signifigantly. It is just another direct.

I think that 30 minute Event will be the Japanese broadcast and not what's shown in Europe. For the UK listings, there's a Nintendo Minute "immediately following the Digital Event" starting at 6pm, one hour after the Digital Event broadcast starts. I think the 40 to 50 minute range is a safe bet, it could even be a full hour.

@Asriel, where's you found that?

Could it be that there's a WW presentation, followed by regional ones with specific price and date info? I hope so.

It was on Nintendo Life, but double checking it, that timeframe is Nintendo Life's estimated timeframe. Forbes are estimating a 90 minute window for the Digital Event, so there's no clear answer as to how long it actually is.

I'd hope that the Event is longer than 30 minutes, anyway. Even with Treehouse broadcasts and Twitch demos, 30 minutes doesn't leave long for new announcements and such a short Event (even with quality content) will lead to more bad press for Nintendo.

Kotaku has the presentation listed as 1hour-to-90minutes.

And IGN lists it as one hour, not including their pre-show/aftershow.
