It depends what you mean by 'Win E3'. If you mean who will have the best games regardless of sales potential then it will be entirely subjective and in the vast majority of cases confirmation bias will ensure that everyone who expected/wanted their preferred company to win, will believe they won. This is especially true where niche titles such as the Last Guardian could be shown, leading fans of such games feeling as though a certain company 'won' E3.

If you mean who will best leverage 'E3' as an opportunity to promote future console sales, this is almost certainly going to be Microsoft of Nintendo. Quite simple, this is because Sony is currently outselling those two companies, often combined, despite an almost complete lack of high-budget, high visibility AAA content. In other words, the only place Sony has to go at this E3 is down. Whereas even a viable attempt at levelling the playing field would represent an E3 'won' for Microsoft or Nintendo.

If you mean on these forums? It will go by userbase - in line with the aforementioned confirmation bias. Sony > Nintendo > Microsoft - irrespective of what is actually shown.

The last part is wrong. Look at the poll. Nintendo fans outnumber Sony ones on this site.

Zelda=instant win
But seriously I hope gamers win and MS,Sony and Nintendo give us the games that we want.

Is that why everyone keeps saying Nintendo?

I'd like to think some of us are capable of objective analysis.

Depnds what they show, if sony have the last guardian and project beast it will be hard for the others to win, if sony fuck it up i think they will lose E3 big time, microsoft will have probably 2 third party big/small games and have a chance to win, nintendo will have a shit ton of games their fans love ( new zelda, X , smash bros ) so if you a nintendo fan they win but to other people no way they will win cause they dont have that big third party support like sony microsoft.

I don't see how Sony having last guardian or project beast is any different to what Nintendo will have. They both only appeal to fans of either a niche genre or to Nintendo fans.

Cause sony already have uncharted 4 that we will see , cause the last guardian is HYPED as fuck and is like the most anticipated game every year since it was announced and project beast is a sequel to one of the greatest ps3 exclusives PLUS sony have a shit ton of new third party games, if they show there is nothing other show that will come close to this IN MY OPINION.

This is what I was referring to above.  Your opinion in advance is that Sony will win.  Evidently all that need happen is TLG be shown and you'll be satisfied with this.  For you, E3 will be won by Sony.  The reality though, is that TLG is broadly irrelevant to console sales comparison's in general, and unlikely to sway any statistically significant number of purchases.  Indeed, many of those holding out for this game (myself included) already own a PS4 in anticipation of its arrival - these are the people sitting on forums such as this one discussing it.

Would TLG make for an interesting conference?  Sure.  Will have little to do with Sony winning or losing E3 in any meaningful way though.

Meh, some of as are.  Not as many as you'd like to believe though

This is a simple question. Who will win E3? There's a lot of hype surrounding everything, and hopefully all of the companies pull a few suprises.

How about you start actually participating in this forum instead of just ignoring everything and making threads about things that already have been discussed a hundred times.

What you're doing looks more and more like points whoring than anything else.

Where did i said sony will win because the last guardian? i said if sony show the last guardian , project beast and uncharted 4 gameplay plus all the third party will be hard for someone to win IMO and this is my fucking opinion and i dont care if it upsets you or not, and i dont care about fucking sales i care about the amount of games I will buy cause they are great. Sales dont mather about who wins or loses E3.

You seem very angry?

Essentially we agree with one another.  Your opinion about game line ups will lead you to the belief that Sony's E3 offers you the most.

Of course, sales are the very essence of what E3 is.  The big three and the major publishers dont spend millions of dollars on the conference every year so we can all have warm fuzzy feelings and sign coombiaya
