Nintendo Trademarks 3DS/Smartphone Connectivity

Nintendo has been slowly opening to involving smart devices in its strategy, and the company trademarked an interesting picture with the Japan Patent Office.

The picture, that you can see reproduced at the bottom of the post, quite explicitly represent some form of connectivity between a smartphone and a Nintendo 3DS.

Thats pretty neat! I don't really carry my 3ds everywhere cause a) Nintendo's account system Sucks b) I don't like carrying multiple things, so if my phone can sync with my 3ds somehow with like streetpass and etc, it will be awesome!

I thought that was the logo, for the tethering app that they released in Japan, sometime ago...

COMG guide to points: 1 point = Raging. 2 points = Beasting. 3 points = Tearing it up. 4 points = Berzerk. 7 points = Rampage. 12 points = Burst. 15 points = god mode. 20+ points = DIVIDING BY ZERO!!! 40+ points = Youkai (originally Pokemon).

-1 = Negabeasting. -5= NegaRampage. -10 = NegaBurst

Yes, the "for Nintendo 3DS" logo is indeed the one Nintendo is using for the tethering app.
