It's been up there for at least 6 hours. The price listed has been its price for a couple months now and I doubt it got there sheerly on used sales. That probably is a good sign for its sales considering how bad they are.  They were about 74k LTD as of April. Even a couple thousand in sales in good news for this game

No, it only went up because it was on sale, and really cheap. Amazon themselves are selling it for 17.98. I don't know why people think this is a huge deal. A game goes on sale on Amazon, it gets bumbed up real good. That's it.

The more it sells the more people see of it, combine the increased visibility with the sales price and it might move into a cult success.

Only $18 huh? I won out then as I got my copy for $12 from ToysRUs! ^_^

I still gotta buy this game...and at that price its perfect. Ill play the demo one more time and see if itll sell me on it.

nobody buyed the wii u just because of mk8. mk8 was just the last piece. why w 101? the price is good, the game is highly praised and its different from the rest of wii u games. i bet we will see good wii u software sales this summer.

Price is definitely the biggest reason, but I think what makes it interesting is that it could be new WiiU owners who are buying it. W101 it has been on sale for months, I think was around $30 possibly less (mid $20-ish). So, could ~$13 discount really have that much of an effect? Well, yes, but possibly with a little help from MK8.
