The question on some people's mind from the earlier announcement on Monday. With Nintendo sold 1.2mil of MK8 as of June 1st, many believe (including me) that its shipped due to several reasons but with some information currently out, it might be proven otherwise...

How you say? Well lets break it down with simple math :P

Sales of FW for Mario Kart 8. [Important] Keep in mind Everything except Japan dont include Sunday Sales!!! (Also digital)

★ North America Total: ???k

⇒ 480k: US

⇒ ??k: Canada+(rest of Americas)

★ Europe Total: 230k

⇒ 70k: UK (*Pal has it over 54k)

⇒ 64k: France

⇒ 45k Germany

★ Japan Total: 325k-350k *Rumor~ Sales with Digital is a total of 404k (Famitsu)

⇒ ??k: Rest of the World

☆ Global Total First Week: 1.13mil= Japan and US+Europe (Not Including Sunday) *missing Rest of World+Canada

Thoughts? There is about 300k-320k so far to be accounted for and thats with Europe (minus UK)+Rest of the World+Canada. Oh yeah and Sunday Worldwide (minus Japan).

Can the 1.2mil actually be sold? Proof???? :0

Remember this numbers are not *always* correct
I think it did sell 1.2 million, specially with digital! But you can't trust VGC that much.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.
