I bought Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen a while ago.

And I always thought the game had a coop mode I was telling friends to buy the game but somehow some people on the Internet say it does NOT have a coop mode while other say it does.

Even some reviews about Dark Arisen talk about the coop mode. Other reviews say it has no coop.

I am comfused.

It doesn't have co-op.

It has an online thing called Pawns where you can rent other people's pawns. Pawns are basically Body guards, and its a interesting system, but it should've just had online.
As for traditional 2 player couch coop no it doesn't have it :(

Dragon's Dogma doesn't have co-op. What it does have is a pawn system where you create a pawn, which can then be shared with the community, and in turn, you can summon other players' pawns to your game. If you have a friend who has the game, you can share each other's pawns to gain rift crystals.

Nope. You can hire other people's pawns though.

So neither Dragons Dogma nor Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen which is basically Dragons Dogma GOTY have coop?

Woot? What did I read all the time I love Dragons Dogma but this makes me really sad right now.

(no offense) but the "shittier" game called MonsterHunter gets coop and Dragons Dogma does not? DD is like what MH should have been from the start...

I know, it's bad that Dragon's Dogma doesn't have Co-op. It's one of my favourite games of the seventh gen.

The ending, though, kinda explain why co-op isn't possible in this game. But I won't say further.

Yeah, me and my brother always talk about how DD should've had coop instead of two extra pawns. It could've been two player coop with each player's created pawn filling out the full four person team or four player coop with all real players. One can only dream for DD2 though. If they make one.
