But trasharmdsister12 is banned, so his entire OP is moot!

Well it should be part of the official forum rules, but they haven't been updated in ages. So this is the best we've got

Anyway, let's return on topic shall we? Namely 3DS sales fell quite sharply this week. Wonder why?

it didn't drop, part of the adjustments over a longer period of time

I expect X1 sales to surge after the release of the Kinectless SKU.

Well since they announced 5 million sold a few months ago, they will probably announce 6 million sold but technically that's shipped.

They haven't announced sold, they announced shipped. And by their shipping schedule, there is no chance that they have shipped another million consoles in the slow spring quarter.

And given their global weekly numbers, they will sell between 500 - 600 K this quarter.

There will be no announcements because there is nothing to announce, they will concentrate on the future.

If those numbers are close to correct can we now talk of very very dissappointing xboxone sales?

Surely the Americans knew it was available on Xboxone but still they chose Ps4 over Xboxone.

Quite frankly I am surprised by the difference. If this happens with a multiplat game. The grapes must be sour.

On the other hand, if this was only the result of some simple marketing, people are even more stupid than i thought.

Simple marketing? I don't wanna know the marketingbudget they thrown at it, and it deffo made it look like a PS4 exclusive

Well they will say 6 million sold to retailers.

I think they will make an annoucement. If not 6 million shipped then 5 million sold to consumers.

People must be waiting for the Kinectless SKU if they want to buy an X1. Also if people have to get a next-gen console now to enjoy Watch Dogs, they can do so with the PS4 with its lower price, exclusive content and higher resolution.

I think they will make an annoucement. If not 6 million shipped then 5 million sold to consumers.

But they will not be able to ship that many by E3. Unless they take overstock back, take out Kinect, repackage the console and count it twice...

Also, announcing 5 mil sold to consumers would be such a bad PR move, practically admitting that their product is selling poorly at retail level.

If they announce any numbers it will be some random Titanfall stats, average app usage, time spent Skyping and similar...

They need to focus the consumer on their plans for.the future, and not dwell much on the past.

But how would they announce 5 million sold to consumers if that hasn't happened nor is going to happen by next week?
