Ok guys.

I used to spend lots of time in Battlefield 3 on PS3. I even bought the Premium package but I never got to play the last two expansions.
A week ago I upgraded my rig to a I7 4770, 8G RAM, Zotac GTX 760 apm! and just this weekend they had an offering in Origin through which I got Battlefield 3 for free. I really can't believe my eyes, I gotta say. Can't believe we are talking about the same game here.

The thing is I really enjoy Battlefield 3 and I never really got tired of it. On the other hand, I am still kind of new to playing fps on pc so there's a learning curve ahead of me when it comes to using the mouse and the keyboard.

I am eager to have the Battlefield 4 experience though, truth to be told, I haven't got a clue if it's that relevant.

What do you guys recommend me to do? Go BF3 Premium once again or save the little money I can save to go BF4 eventually?

my personal opinion on BF4 is that its bugged as hell.. so research before u buy it.. glad i didnt buy it, got it free with my graphic card

BF3 is working now. I don't know about BF4.

2 and BC2 destroy both of them. But 2's servers are offline (or will be soon) and I have heard BC2 is dead on PC. If you have to get one of those I would get 4.

Did you do the same thread on Neogaf? I could swear I saw something similar there...

I think it is possible to connect your controller to your PC if you have bluetooth.

BTW, if you play with a controller online against m+k you will get slaghtered every single time.

BF 4 has been fixed for the most part, meaning I havent had any issues since and carrier assault is pretty damn fun! I have it for PC and ps4 and they have both been very much improved upon as far as my setup goes. I never used a controller on pc.... it never ends well as far as FPS goes....

I didn't, yet I can see how other people wonder about the same subject.

All I can say is that BF4 is better than BF3 in every way now that it works. Better maps, more weapons, better and more vehicles, and better squad communications (And they are 5 man). Nothing else to it. You would be silly to get BF3 at this point.
