Forums - Nintendo Discussion - E3 insider lists Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for Wii U

E3 Insider has apparently outed that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is coming to Wii U. According to the official E3 website, a Wii U rendition of the upcoming first-person shooter will launch on November 4th, alongside the other versions of the game. Does this look like COD Ghosts scenario again, where the Wii U version is officially announced around E3 time? http://mynintendonews.com/2014/06/01/e3-insider-lists-call-of-duty-advanced-warfare-for-wii-u/

source?

also wouldnt be surprised if it did.

Why do people always assume this franchise won't hit the Wii U? This is the second time people have assumed COD won't release on the Wii U for unknown reasons.

The more you release subsequent itterations of your franchise on a console, the more you grow its audience. Activision understands this. I can't figure out why nobody else can.

I'm kind of surprised since Ghosts didn't sell much on Wii U. I guess it sold just enough for the Wii U port to actually make a profit.

Could also be that Activision just wants to keep their relationship with Nintendo good for things like Skylanders.  Dunno why they have to make it a secret each year though.

It took Namco Bandai quite some time to figure this out.  Instead it was about releasing Tales games in the US, not on a specific system.

Sony or Microsoft have to be paying them off. It's the only explanation for burying its existence as opposed to merely announcing its existence in the fine print (oh, yeah, there'll be a Wii U version too i guess).

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Eh. Good news for the 3 or 4 gamers that played Ghosts on the WiiU!

That's funny cause CoD has been selling less and less with every subsequent iteration on a Nintendo console.
