This is not a hate thread. I have easily sunk over 10 hours into the game and just got it last night. It is wonderful and I love everybit of it (but battle mode). Even some of the best games of all time like Ocarina of Time, The Last of Us, and Grand Theft Auto V have had disappointing features in them. Tell me yours.

Connection issues, I'm rarely able to play more than 5 races in a row.

I actually seem to have no problem with that. On Wii I did but there's no lag or issues on here

I understand why they did it the way they did with the chat (a lot of sickos and immature folks online that I would be uncomfortable talking to my kids), but i find myself wanting more out of the chat in online mode. They always could have some kind of parental controls to prevent underage kids from chatting or hearing / seeing chat if that's what their parents so desire.

The game is more fun with a group of friends and Skype, that's for sure

Battle Mode aren't its own arenas

Battle mode screwed up, Rainbow Road a disappointment (so much potential with the whole antigravity thing, something like the DS one with loops and corkscrews would have been fun), not allowing more laps for tracks in VS / Online, lack of anti-aliasing, somewhat poor character roster, some tracks being too short.

Sorry, couldn't single one out.

Lack of mini map, stupid splitscreen, gamepad splitscreen, advantage to gamepad users, battle mode (not that I really care), coin item instead of FIB, no custom button layout (wouldve been nice), characters... seriously 7 koopalings and PGP. At least we have a baby Rosalina now =D
Umm yeah thats it for now I think.

Honestly i'd rather have characters limited to what karts they could use, similar to Double Dash or DS (multiple karts, but limited by weight class of the character). It just feels too open-ended to be able to take, say, Daisy, and just use any kart with her. Feels like it sucks the strategy out.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

This. I always get the "communication error" issue a lot...is even worse when it happens in the middle of a race.
