Forums - Sony Discussion - Another "Next-Gen Exclusive" for Sony's PlayStation 4?

I often browse the list of games on Amazon to see if there are any that catch my eye, and this time one did. Raven's Cry - http://www.ravenscry-game.com/en/http://www.amazon.co.uk/Topware-Interactive-Ravens-Cry-Steelbook/dp/B00K8PJUM6/ref=zg_bs_2574539031_76 - looks to be made in a similar vein to Assassin's Creed: Black Flag, a VERY similar vein, but it looks good nonetheless for it.

Do we know of this game yet? And if not, why? It seems unusual that a website would be up and running without an announcement being made, and is the game going to be exclusive to the PlayStation 4? There is mention of the Xbox 360, but not the new Xbox. So far I am intrigued, but there is little to no information out there about the title so I thought I would bring it to your attention.

Looking at the developer I won't get my hopes up.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Looks bad.

ehh ok

Never heard of it. Was it just revealed?

There are some interesting and ambitious "features" to this game. The crew management and trading system alone are neat ideas. Whether they will be implemented in the actual game is a whole other matter and as these guys are responsible for the Two Worlds series I'll be watching this game with much skepticism.

This.  Two Worlds 2 had a massive world with a lot to do, but the game was awful.

I never heard about this game until now and looked it up on Youtube, finding out it's been in development since 2011 and a gameplay trailer released last year, and my opinion on it is that it looks pretty bad.  Who knows though.  It might either be a decent or good game.

I know you listed it as "next gen exclusive" which it is, but it's either exclusive or it's not.  It's a multigen release and if an Xbox fan wants to play this game, they can still play it on  the 360 and the game will probably look and run exactly the same but in 720p instead of 1080p.  What they probably offered Sony for it to not be on the Xbox One was dirt cheap so Sony took it.  Waste of money, Sony, waste of money.

Doubtful. More likely a case of available resources and prioritising platforms.

Exactly. Bound by Flame's developers said the only reason it's not made for XOne is because their DevKit arrived too late, and they just didn't have enough time or manpower to do it in such a short period.
