Never heard of this game before

It was great. If you like Age of Empires with bits of Civilization thrown in the mix, this game is definitely worth a try.

Whoooooooooo

I have 0 experience with this IP, but MS acquiring more is always the right direction to go.

It's a mix Civ and Age of Empire. Very fun to play in multiplayer with a few friends. I use to play the shit out of this game at internet cafe.

Edit: Damn I just copied Scoobes' post like, word for word. :(

Hopefully this means Rise of Legends is on its way too

I loved that game to death. :)

used to play this heaps back in my rts loving days. It's a decent franchise, but no way near as good as AOE and SC

Nothing more natural than the game returning to it's publisher in auction... Maybe they can make a good effort on the Kinect for a sequel.

So what is so wrong with AOE that buying rise of nations can fix?
AOE is a much bigger brand, they should just revive that instead.

That would be the worst thing they could do. What's the point of building a PC fanbase if you put the sequel on a different machine?

Why not revive both? They're both great RTS franchises and RoN has its own spin combining AoE and Civ.

What is the point of buying Rare to put the sequels on a Microsoft console?
