Forums - Politics Discussion - BREAKING NEWS: “Game Over” For Game Stop Gunmen

Would be really interesting to see statistics about how many armed robberies end with one or more dead if only the robber has a gun and knows that he doesn't have to use it if nothing crazy happens or how many times people die in a robbery where the robber and the "defender" has a gun.

I would bet that not only more robbers die when both have a gun but also more people who get robbed or see a robbery and who try to play the saviour. I mean, sure, sometimes the robber will really kill someone and then nobody can do anything if only the robber has the gun but more often will the robber kill someone if he feels unsecure and thinks that he has to kill someone to get out of the situation.

Yea, there is no doubt in my mind that there are on average more casualties in a robbery if both the robbers and the robbed/customers have guns.

But to a quite large number of people the feeling of helplessness when faced with a potentially deadly situation seems to be more manecing than the objectively higher chance of dieing in that situation when equipped with an equally deadly tool.

Its pretty sad to see people defending thives and armed robbers. Is this really what america has become?

So anyone who steal deserves to lose their life, huh? He stole some fucking video games, we all make mistakes, we're all human and no one knows why they decided to do this. It's ridiculous you think someone deserves to die because he stole a fucking Xbox.

Pretty sure they knew the fucking risks involved when they walked into the gamestop and robbed it at fucking GUN POINT!!! Some of y'all are too stupid for words!

"Games are a trigger for adults to again become primitive, primal, as a way of thinking and remembering. An adult is a child who has more ethics and morals, that's all. When I am a child, creating, I am not creating a game. I am in the game. The game is not for children, it is for me. It is for an adult who still has a character of a child."
