I think SSB was made for the GC controller, I don't wanna play SSB with any other controller, that other analog stick is perfect for the special attacks, or w/e they are called.

Also any word on if the GC controller will only support SSB or other games too?

That's a gamecube controller? Never seen one before.

Shame on you! The GameCube controller is one of the best controllers ever created! Easily on par with the 360 controller!

... and no. There will not be a WiiU with built in GC ports. This was made specifically for SSB and likely is all that it means.

However, it is remotely possible that we will see GC on VC soon. But I'd think they'd announce N64 on VC first.

Either way, both will have Pro controller support. So this is not really necessary.

WHAT!?

N64 isnt onWii U? It was on Wii, Nintendo have no clue with VC

Not yet. They said it was coming eventually. I think the *had* no clue with VC and made the Wii version per game vs an actual platform that can take any game. I think they've corrected this with teh 3DS/WiiU versions which should make moving to newer consoles very easy.

I'm not a fan of the GC controller... so meh.

Wii is on Wii U though.

Problem solved.

No way are they making this just for SSB, Gamecube VC at E3 now 75% certain

Can N64 VC games be played on the Wii U through the Wii or something then?

Go into Wii mode and you have access to all VC games released on Wii. They don't support Off-TV mode though.

Edit:

And they don't have the new VC features such as button mapping and save states.

It's nice to have options, but really, some people need to learn to move on. If Wii 2 U has GameCube controller support.....I don't even know what to think anymore....
