Henry Cavil is pretty cool.

Thanks for including Reeve in the poll, I assumed he'd be forgotten. The old Superman films are certainly dated, but his portrayal of Clark Kent is as good as it gets.

I always liked Keaton's Bruce Wayne as well.

I chose Christopher Reeves.

If Chris Evans was available, I would have picked him for Captain America.

It is near the end of the end....

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Ron Perlman's Hellboy doesnt get enough credit.

Hard to imagine anyone else in that role, much like Hugh Jackman w/ Wolverine and Robert D Junior w/ Tony Stark.

I have 3 favorites Tobey Maguire was the Perfect Peter Parker in my opinion,no one tops RDJ as Iron Man and Where is the selection for Michael Keaton, not a true poll until he is on there, sorry

Reeve is probably number one. He managed to nail both Superman and Clark Kent, which is no easy task.

Jackman and Downey, Jr. were inspired casting choices also. I loved Maguire as Spider-Man, but I think Garfield plays the role closer to the original, even if his movies are inferior.

Cavill is definitely the odd man out. His version of Superman is a far cry from the comic book origins.

I'd also like to give honorable mentions to Ron Perlman (Hellboy) and Kevin Conroy (Batman) and Mark Hamill (The Joker). I know the latter two are voice actors, but they were able to bring those characters to life regardless.
