I just read the Destiny looks boring thread. And the thread is divided into two groups of people Sony and Microsoft fans. Sony fans are praising the game and MS fans are dissing it. 

So what is it? Sony fans hyping it because it is a ''pretend exclusive'' coming from the halo developers or *excuse the word* butthurt Microsoft fans turning their backs on bungie because they decided to go third party and favor Sony this time around? So what is it? Personally I don't think anyone has even played the game so it is best to reserve judgement until it comes out.

I think in the back of some people's minds, it's seen as a Titanfall competitor as well. And generally MS fans are on the side of Titanfall, while Sony fans aren't.

All generalizations, of course.

I can only speak for myself but I do not think my own opinion is tainted, at least not to the levels of some others. I've always been jealous of Halo, I've had fun with MMOs, and I love Borderlands, so I think it's understandable that I'm someone who believes the game looks good so far. It simply appears to be an enjoyable FPS to my eyes. I'm also not someone who gives a rodent's tender hump about games being evolutionary or not.

The radical turn against Bungie by some is the surprise for me.

As a Nintendo fan, I find it quite funny

I think Destiny is looking meh so far; and that goes from a "Microsoft fan" who dislikes Halo ;P

i remember when those leaks happened. bungie was hailed as the greatest thing ever. fast forward to Feb 2013, and bungie "lost it anyways".
