Update 2:
Since many people were saying that low sales were due to upcoming price cut, I decided to bump this thread after said price cut. The Xbox One sold 6,697 units in mainland Europe. For comparison's sake, Wii U sold 28,365 (4.2:1) and PS4 32,864 (4.9:1).
Update 1: to adress a couple of excuses I'm seeing in this thread. Not being released in all of Europe doesn't matter. 4k vs 5k tops, big deal. The upcoming price cut doesn't matter either, it's been selling around 4k a week for quite a while now, even before the announcement.
Original OP:
This called my attention. 4,575 in Europe sans UK. This number is mind-boggling. As in, supermegaterribad. Below PSP. About half of what the Wii U did in Japan (the dead market) this week. Half of Wii U numbers in mainland Europe itself. It's being outsold by the PS4 by a worse ratio than the Xbox 360 got outsold by the PS3 in Japan!!
Will the price cut bring it up from the depths of cultural irrelevance in the region? Personally, I don't think anything can help bring the machine to healthy numbers in mainland Europe. We know most of the sales will come from the US and UK, but at least the Xbox 360 had a healthy presence in European homes...
