I thought it wasn't their A-team developing it but I agree it doesn't look as great as its predecessors

The A-team is working on Beast Souls for PS4

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

Play it on PC, and it looks gorgeous. The console versions look and play like shit.

looked fine on PC

I just don't get it. Bad graphics. High, borderline unfair difficulty. And it gets a metascore in high 80s/low 90s.

Then there's a game like the Wonderful 101. Great graphics. High difficulty, but you can overcome with some real strategy and skill. And it got panned.

It deserves those scores on PC, but not console. Also the unfair difficulty comment made me laugh.

Dark Souls 2 doesn't look entirely bad. There are a bunch of good looking areas too. Also the difficulty isn't unfair for the most part, and you can overcome it with strategy and skill. I haven't read Wonderful 101 reviews but there's going to be more to it than graphics + difficulty if it got panned.

I'll put it this way: Genuinely unique controls and gameplay few bothered to discover. The game could have done a better job explaining it though.

I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016

I enjoyed the challenge, but i have to say, both graphics (on PS3) and story were average at best.
I think both Demon Souls and Dark Souls were better games.

Difficulty isn't unfair. Don't believe some reviewers who simply don't understand that every enemy can be beaten easily with the right tactic. Sure, sometimes the needed tactic isn't obvious when you first meet a new enemy so that you will die but when you know how to beat an enemy, that enemy is pretty easy to be honest.

A friend of mine played through Dark Souls 1 without leveling and people also said that this is unfair and only luck at many places which is simply not true.

Dark Souls 2 is honestly the easiest in the series if you don't immediately join and stay in the champions covenant. It's almost a joke if you don't join it.

Oh really? a TW101 bump? Come on, DS is miles ahead of TW101. Reviewers agree, gamers agree. I can tell you from experience that the DS difficulty is not unfair, albeit it can certainly appear to be. Also, i think some reviewers critize DS2 a bit for some of the enemies being legit unfair, but for the most part, it is your typical, trial and error, rinse and repeat.

OT: those are pretty jarring. There was a significant downgrade from what I recall. Still, the game is pretty fun on its own right.
