Shaw started for a PL team and got a lot of time in the first XI last season.

Roberts didn't start for a middle of the road team in the Championship. They're not comparable. Notice how I added the "who won't play right away" bit.

geez man.. i wish i was an average 21 year old football player in England. you can get a fat contract just because you are home grown and the only thing you have to worry about is which place you are gonna sit on the bench..

32 million pound for Benteke.... seems like overpaying but could be a good player for Liverpool.. but on paper they are like waaay behind Arsenal, United, City and Chelsea.. don't think they'll be top 4 the new season

Well, Benteke is one of the smarter choices they could have made. When healthy, he's one of the best goal scorers in the EPL.
