A very Latin Champions League. The only party pooper is the colossus B. München.
Premier League teams have to better themselves defensively, starting with adoption of a CDM in their tactics.

What about PSG and Monaco? Are they considered latin?

For reference: Latin or "Romantic" Languages are Portugese, Spanish, French, Italian and Romanian.

There have been rumors that FIFA worked with FOX (who own the English Speaking US television rights for 2018 and 2022) to get 2026 as well to smooth over their frustration over 2022 being in a less ideal time slot for the network.  Makes you wonder how much money FIFA will lose in order for Qatar to host and have demands appeased?

Heh, Im sure Qatar will make up for all the money that FIFA will "lose".

The insane part is though that they could have had a wildly successful and popular 2022 World Cup in Australia or United States and made tons of money and had a major legacy for the sport.  All Qatar offers is the money without all those side benefits.  I don't get it.

Qatar does have legacy though. First ever World Cup to be held in the Middle East and Blatter will be the first to have brought the cup to the Middle East.

Besides that, TV revenue should be higher than a US or Australian world cup due to it being very close to the European time zone where the majority of TV revenue is made.

Along with the thousands of slave workers killed during the construction...

Isn't you statement a bit of a hyperbole? Thousands?

Its already said to be over a thousand, with 4000 estimated by the time that the WC starts.

Wow. I thought it was a couple of deaths and mostly a case of overworked people.

Fifa is a disgrace.

Everton going out means Germany will start in 2nd position next season in the 5 year UEFA Country rankings ,pretty excited to witness whether or not the Bundesliga clubs can hold that position - I expect EPL teams to do much better than this year and Dortmund might not even compete in neither Champions nor Europa League so it could be very tough, especially if Bayern and Wolfsburg don't increase the lead by winning/surviving additional rounds this season
