Concacaf update

Tuesday
Olimpia 1-1 Herediano
Pachuca 2-2 Montreal
Wednesday
Saprissa 0-3 America
Thursday
Alajuelense v. DC United

As expected America convincing beat Saprissa after struggling in the first half. Should have no problem in second leg either.

Big game for me is tonight as my black and red travel to Costa Rica. Great result, win. Good result, draw. Acceptable result, one goal loss. Abysmal result, two or more goal loss.

Of course our big winter signing Halsti had to get injured so he is out leaving our defence vulnerable.

spain vs germany is very interrestig in CL and EL this week...

English teams proving again how overrated they are.

Tottenham are going out, and Liverpool looking likely as well

English teams have never really tried that hard in the Europa league before, but isn't this the first year where winning it means qualifying for the Champions League? So yeah they really should be doing better.

Although English teams have declined quite a bit in recent years as well.

They need to start trying. Not only because of CL qualification, but because it is the only European trophy any of them are going to get a whiff of for a while.

2021 CONFEDERATIONS CUP WILL NOT BE HELD IN QATAR

http://www.timeslive.co.za/sport/soccer/2015/02/25/fifa-to-move-2021-confederations-cup-from-qatar

Jerome Valcke, FIFA secretary general, said the tournament will be played "in an Asian country", but Qatar had been ruled out because of its climate.

-----------------

Keep it in middle east or use Confederations Cup to try and appease another nation? Interesting that climate is an issue for Confederations Cup, but not the World Cup.

Liverpool just lost to Besiktas on penalties ( 5-4)!

Oh my.. Liverpool...

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Chelsea and Manchester United are the only 2 in recent years that do well in Europe.

And it's up to Chelsea again to represent the EPL again but still the FA fucks us over,go figure.
