Wow Ramos' comments really make him look like the certified tw*t people say he is.

Well, English Premier League isn't doing to well over the last few days. First there will be games on Amazon Prime over the season but mostly ALL 10 Boxing day games will be on that ONLY from 2019-20 season.

Then that same season they over paid footballers will have a 'Winter Break'. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44414487

2016-17 season due to clashes, FA ties and such alike, Southampton played a total of 1 game in March. They don't need a Winter break, this will just add to issues.

But money talks apparently. Especially friendlies in China.

Hmm, pie.

Germany, Spain etc have winter breaks already, so can't really complain about that. I'm just glad it's a staggered break so they'll still be some football on since only half the teams take a break at a time.

As for the Amazon Prime bit, that really sucks, particularly because it's the boxing day games. Boxing day with no football is totally going to suck. That said, if they stream it on Prime worldwide, rather than just in the UK it won't be so bad (I'm an Amazon JP subscriber so I'd get to watch it then ). Although I'd still remain skeptical about the quality of their coverage.

Bet Shiken that COD would outsell Battlefield in 2018. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8749702

FIFA is FINALLY overhauling the FIFA Ranking system https://resources.fifa.com/image/upload/revision-of-the-fifa-coca-cola-world-ranking.pdf?cloudid=jgxjkdrj1jfwyunjbkha

  1. Less importance to friendly matches and more importance to final round competitions, such as the FIFA World Cup Finals
  2. More importance to knock-out stage matches than group stage matches in final competitions

4 very enjoyable days in Poland. Driving to kaliningrad tomorrow and then flying to St Petersburg. Let the fun begin.

So change of pace a little, Football isn't only about the world cup...

It's about FASHION!!!

So how are your teams kits looking for next season?

Saints home kit isn't the best, it has the stripes, that's fine but has this red block at the top and the stripes don't carry on over the back of the shirt. Away kit is nice, Yellow with a blue block and blue shorts.

If you want a laugh though, go look at Brentford's Away kit.

Hmm, pie.

*cough*

... So who's signed anyone good?

I'm happy about our transfer window.

Lichtsteiner will bring some fighting spirit and mentality to our squad and some competition for Bellerin. I don't watch much Bundesliga but I have the impression Sokratis is a solid defender and we desperately need good CBs. Lucas Torreira was impressive for Uruguay and I think he's exactly the midfielder we need. I don't know much about Leno but he can't be worse than Cech was last season.

I wouldn't mind if we signed another centreback, defensive midfielder and a winger but it's not likely Emery will get everything in one transfer window.

Very exited for next season! I'm not sure we'll bounce back to top 4 yet but winning Europa League would be a reasonable target. Emery is a winner after all.

Aubameyang / Lacazette

Iwobi / Özil / Mikhitaryan

Xhaka / Torreira / Ramsey

Kolasinac / Sokratis / Mustafi (unfortunately..) / Bellerin

Leno

Not bad at all.

Mertesacker retire? Getting replacements for good centre backs seems hard nowadays. Especially ones that lead because the new one might not.
