Dutch playoffs for European football:
Thursday: AZ beats Utrecht 3-0 at home
Just now: Utrecht up 3-0 against AZ at home, Utrecht scores the 4-0 in the 94th minute but the goal in canceled because the referee already gave Utrecht a penalty. Haller, who so far has scored 16 out of 16 penalties at Utrecht, steps up to take it in his last match at the club (he's already been sold for next season), only to see Krul save it.
They're in extra time now. AZ also down a player due to a red card by the way. The winner qualifies for the Europa League 2nd qualifying round.

If I could do the video ref system, I'd do naughty stuff to it.
Watching a match between NEC and NAC Breda at the moment. NEC is fighting to stay in the Eredivisie, NAC is trying to get promoted, referee has given both teams 1 penalty based on video. NAC won the first match 1-0 at home, currently this match is 1-1, 1-2 on aggregate.

My prediction, Wenger to leave because he won something, if he didn't he would stay to win something. Now he's won something he's leaving.

It makes some sense.

Hmm, pie.

I can see this happening and this would be a good time to leave. Yesterday made this season a whole lot better and it was great to see everyone performing and playing to win. I can understand it's not easy for him to let go though, so many years and good memories. He loves the sport, competition, club and his paycheck that's for sure.

So he's now the manager who won most FA Cup trophies. Not bad, not bad 😊

Today in Dutch football: 2 penalties given due to the referee being able to review video, 1 red card given due to the referee being able to review video and 1 red card given on advice of the video referee, all in just 2 matches.

Currently travelling to Wembley

I am only here to brag about our victory against Frankfurt. Glad we won the cup.

Now Tuchel can FINALLY leave.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Combining the last two posts with an interesting fact:

Huddersfield Town's German-American coach David Wagner is a former youth coach of Borussia Dortmund. His name is probably on the shortlist of possible successors to Thomas Tuchel.

Probably controversial: am I the only one who'd love to see this kinda stuff happen in Football once in a while?

Like, if someone makes an extremely dangerous tackle which could break someone's leg I'd love to see the player being tackled or a teammate of his just throw a punch towards the player which made the tackle. Instead of just pushing each other and bitching at the ref for a red just throw a punch to the dickhead if he deserves it.

Nah as much as some players deserve a punch sometimes I don't want football to turn into ice-hockey. I also don't want my son to see shit like that when watching football. Bitching at the ref, diving, acting like a bitch etc is annoying enough to watch hehe.

Long bans for extremely dangerous tackles is a way to go. And a straight red of course. They also should use video refs in case ref misses the tackle.
