Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Prediction Xbox One can do better in Japan than the 360

So i have a prediction about the xbox one's performace in japan

i think microsoft is going to try a little harder now and get tons of japanese games out there.

They are trying to do this by getting big games on xbox(kh3 ff16(correct me if im wrong)

they are also teaming up with developers to make new japanese ips and bring back old ones.

So i think the xbox one will do better in japan giving the more games that fit Japan's taste and better advertising.

Im not saying it will do megaton numbers but i do believe it will do over 2 million maybe to 3 million possibly.

Do you think its possible? Yes or no?

I don't know.
All of Microsoft past consoles didn't do so well in Japan.
I don't see any reason why this console should be any different.
Japan is also a handheld country so that means 3DS and Vita
Probably will continue to sell the most there.

Nope: http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=183648&page=1

Doubt it

PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

If MS invests heavily through out the whole generation in Japan then sure. If they drop support after 3 years like they did with the 360 then, nope.

Not hard to beat.

Anything is possible, just to get that out of the way. However, I just don't see it doing that much better if that's the case.

It'd be possible if there wasn't a decline in console sales there. Although, Xbox 360's sales were really bad there, so it could be possible.

lulz,. is an explanation even needed?

Nope, very unlikely. The few people that bought the 360 there are will probably never by an xbox product again.
