The Playstation 2 & Xbox were 2 platforms that were and still are 2 of the best gaming consoles that ever blessed our living rooms.

Some of the most memorable  games came in the Playstation/ Xbox era. From fighters, to sandbox games to classic platformers and  some of the sweetest racing games of their era.

We can all file through our catalogue of classics and find games that will instantly put a smile on our faces. We played them, we loved them, so we layed them again and again.

Today we will be looking back and wondering. Where are these classics ?

Why have we not seen them again ?

Are they ever going to return ?

In any case, here are the 3 contestants.

Onimusha - Made by Capcom, Onimusha was an action adventure classic.  Swords, Magic and tight controls were the staple of this classic series.

Manhunt - Developed by Rockstar, This game was a walking controversy. Scary stealth enviroments, executions, gruesome weapon kills and blood, allot of blood.

Legacy Of Kain - Puzzle solving, action adventure, mixed with a  hack and slash game. Raziel & Kain. Their stories intertwine, they both weild the Soul Reaver, and their both out for Blood.

Question is, which of the 3 games would you like to see make a Triumphant return ?

Onimusha is the correct answer

Manhunt was one of the best stealth games I ever played. The over the top violence and brutality was great, but the stealth aspects and awesome AI were my favorite aspects of the game. Then again, the sequel was so terrible.

Legacy of Kain is so story driven, idk how good it would be with a new entry.

Never played Onimusha.

I would pick Manhunt, if they went back to the format of the original.

Is this a real question?

Legacy of Cain. Hands down. I want my HD collection and a worthy Soul Reaver 3.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Can't comment on Manhunt, but I played the other two quite a bit:

Legacy of Kain is to me slightly overrated. It's remembered more amazingly than it actually was imo. I've gone back and tried to play it and found it very difficult to do so.

Onimusha is to me slightly underrated. I think Capcom released the sequels too soon. Releasing a major IP too frequently devalues it.

Legacy of Kain. But only if Amy could write/direct/produce it.

Onimusha > Legacy of Kain >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Manhunt

I enjoyed Manhunt, but nowhere near as much as Onimusha, of course, that's dependent on them making a good Onimusha and not the piles of crap they made in the latter years of the franchise. Still, awesome concept, definitely needs to be revived, same with LoK.

I like all 3 of these series, but I have to say the first Manhunt is an underrated masterpiece, and one of Rockstar's best games and deserves a good sequel. It was legitimately scary and foreboding, and the stealth in it was great. When you were detected by enemies in that game, they did a great job capturing the panic of the situation, and making sure you knew you were totally screwed. Also, a good example of better played on PC.  For some reason the experience of this game on PC blew away the PS2 version.  The 2nd game in series was fkn TERRIBLE.
