Squeezol's Fanclub Member? is that how it works?

Why can't I hold all these no gaemz?

Always looking to improve my awful drawings ;_;

It's arguable that Sony never supported Vita with AAA games. They have publicly stated that it wont be getting any more AAA games unless you count streaming PS4 and PSNow titles. Given Vita's install base those games would require 80%+ attach rate just to hit the kinds of numbers most AAA games would want so I can understand them not showing up in force.

That being said I don't know how Sony sucked things up so bad that they can't really get any content for Vita. I think even as far as indies and Japanese games go Sony should have more and better to show.

Should they keep supporting it with Triple A games?

Yes.

The Triple A Games they have been?

No.

Handheld and Console paradigms are a bit different.

Sony will continue to support the Vita through their Japanese studios. Freedom Wars, Soul Sacrifice Delta, and Gravity Rush 2 are three big 1st party titles that have come or are coming in 2014.

Also, I'm interested to see if PS.Now will do anything for the Vita. People keep asking to port AAA titles from PS3 over to Vita. Well, they'll get to play those games this summer via PS.Now.

PS.Now won't change a thing for Vita. It only works when you have Wi-Fi, so 9 times out of 10 it's in your house. I have my PS3 there already, so why would I want to pay extra for PS.Now to play games on Vita, if I can play them on PS3 without paying the extra fee? Also, Vita has less buttons... That's why ports are wanted, not this.

Vita needs original, exclusive games from big and known franchises or remakes of famous old games. Wii and PC are the best platforms to search for these - The Last Story, The Conduit 1&2, No More Heroes, Cursed Mountain from Wii would be sweet. KOTOR 1 and 2, Morrowind, Vampire the Masquarade, The Bard's Tale, a Civilisation game, Heroes of M&M and such games from PC would be great as well. I know it's getting harder with each month to get these to port to Vita, Sony should have made such moves earlier, but this still should be financially viable.

I also think at this point Sony should be re-using the assets already existing on Vita. They have ported Killzone 3 engine? Awesome! Now make another Killzone with the assets from Mercenary. Design the budget so that the game is profitable with 400k copies sold and you're good to go. Get a deal to make a Destiny or Titanfall spin-offs using this engine. They should convince Ubisoft to make another exclusive AC game (the first one sold 1 mil, damn it!) or maybe a Watch Dogs spin-off - they have the engine up and running ready! Why not get EA to make another NFS soon basing on the old engine? Make another Uncharted with the existing engine, models, etc. Maybe make a TLOU spin-off with it. We have Persona 4G? Awesome! It sold great, so now get a deal for Persona 3G and Persona 5G later on.

They already have Unity and Unreal Engine 3 working on Vita, but I haven't seen them taking any kind of advantage of this fact. Why haven't we gotten the few good iOS Unity games like Deus Ex or CoD? Why hasn't Sony secured at least HD remakes of old GTA games, when R* was porting them to mobile? Why isn't there a single port of a UE3 game? Offer Activision that one of Sony studios ports the CoD engine so they can port a CoD every year. Things like that would make a difference. Sony got Borderlands 2 - awesome! But why isn't the next Borderlands coming to Vita? They got FF X and it already sold 500k+, so get that Type-0 HD remake, FF XII HD, maybe even a FF VII HD remake? I don't think that Square has the resources and talent to remake it in fullHD PS4 level quality, it would cost sick money, but they sure can make a Vita level remake. This game would make Vita explode in Japan and sell millions.

Sony should be more active and aggresive making such moves. But to do this, they actually have to start believing in the platform themselves...

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Hate the poll options. The Vita isn't doing successful and I doubt it will ever push the sales the 3DS is having. That being said I wouldn't consider it a failure or dead. I have one I won free and despite not really enjoying a single game in the library I keep it. I didn't pay for it and I imagine eventually something I enjoy will come out for it. Love the OLED screen, etc.

Valid point if you have a PS3 for sure, but If you're a 360 and Vita owner, PS.Now is not a bad option to at least give it a try.

I don't quite get your last point.  Whether it's a port or if you're playing via PS.Now, it's the same number of buttons on the Vita.  I don't see how porting a PS3 game to Vita makes the button configuration any different than if you're playing the same game on PS.Now on the Vita.

They bloody well better because I just got my Vita after holding off so long. I actually built up quite a collection of AAA downloadable titles due to being a PS+ member.

let japonese make the medium games that are neither indie neither AAA.
in américa, pack with ps4 for being used as a controler.
in china, vita tv.

When they are making a port, they can adjust the controls to suit Vita best. When I play Killzone: Mercenary, I don't feel any lack of buttons. Everything works, there are no gimmicks, no stupid backtouch is used (hate that panel!) to imitate regular buttons. Same goes for ACIII:L and Uncharted: GA. They work great with the buttons Vita has. Streamed game doesn't work that well.
