Depends on if that reserved 10% is now fully usable.

That 10% was just the CPU yeah?

No GPU

"Xbox One has a conservative 10 per cent time-sliced reservation on the GPU for system processing," Microsoft technical fellow Andrew Goossen told us just before the console launch. "This is used both for the GPGPU processing for Kinect and for the rendering of concurrent system content such as Snap mode,"

Xbox 360 - Better With Kinect.
Xbox One - Better without Kinect.
I'm confused.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

I wonder what % each of those is of the total 10%.

Ah, thanks! I was pretty sure it was 10% of something, but wasn't sure if it was the GPU or CPU.

In an earlier article it was something like 2% for voice controls, and 8% for motion and I guess snap mode.

Maybe the reason for why it's taking so long to release the extra 8% (it was supposed to be there for Titanfall's release) is to figure out how to still support snap mode.

I'll start to believe that when it start doing 1080p.

Was that the secret sauce??

Bet reminder: I bet with Tboned51 that Splatoon won't reach the 1 million shipped mark by the end of 2015. I win if he loses and I lose if I lost.

If developers use the extra 10% for games, does that mean kinect becomes useless to those who have it?
