Square Enix just released Final Fantasy Agito for iOS and Android. While Final Fantasy Type-0 came out on PSP, this game is designed for smartphones.
 
In Final Fantasy Agito, players can walk around the academy and interact with characters also seen in Final Fantasy Type-0. The game also has a combat system where you go out on the field with battle buddies.

Gonna be real interesting how these games perform

A 16 dollar game vs 2 f2p titles... Monster Hunter was around 10~14 place in the top grossing apps this last week since it release..
This day will change handheld gaming forever.. if its a succes..

Why would you wanna release something on the Vita in the west? Anyway Mobile is already huge in japan so this might be the dagger to finish handhelds of..

PSO2 should be in the west.  Who cares about a portable version of a game that you cannot really play while on the go because you need a 3G Vita?

Hi folks! Final Fantasy Agito is looking amazing indeed, great console like quality and a gameplay that is likely thrill gamers. However, I can’t seem to find it on the App Store yet, is it out worldwide? I guess meanwhile I’ll stick to Numbs: https://itunes.apple.com/app/id674456722 , my latest find and a great numbers game! Find it on play.google.com too, the multiplayer community is getting bigger! Getting back to Final Fantasy Agito; http://en.wikiapedia.org/wiki/Final_Fantasy_Agito, I feel the game has great potential, nothing to be compared with Phantasy Star Online 2es; pso2.jp/es though! Both are really cool games!

That mobile Phantasy Star looks like ass. You guys must be incredibly desperate for video games if you want that released in the west.  It's a completely different game than the actual Phantasy Star Online 2.
