AGAIN?  lol

I'm absolutely convinced that this is a joke account and joke thread. It's too perfectly insane to be believable.

TheDrill was right but didn't know how to put it. For the definitive proof of X1 passing PS4 and obliterating it read

ive said before, this is the only real week I think the xone can pass the ps4 in sales,,because this is the week everyone who has been sitting on the fence waiting for a price-cut,can finally purchase one... all the build up/momentum has been leading to this specific week..next week it will die down a little and sales will be less ,and less the week after... I still don't think xone won this week in n.a,if the did,its by maybe a few hundred...its sales overall are still real bad ww

And the thread is about USA and Ps4 outsold X1 by 1k on USA on week ending June 14th on VGC numbers (NA =/= USA).

Not to mention that even globally the XBO still got skunked even on the premier of the $399 SKU and post-E3 'hype'. That's assuming the NPD numbers reflect this, and every indication I see reinforces that in spades. The XBO is just not catching on for a ton of reasons. It has all the hallmarks of a niche console for the gen now. People really shouldn't be surprised. Nintendo had what, 90% of the market in 8-bit, then a basic tie/slight advantage with SNES, and then N64 got skunked by PS1. Etc/infinity.

Past success is no guarantee of future success gen to gen. Within gens, things seldom change (though PS1 catching fire was a rare exception to this rule, but the N64 was honestly a VERY weak target to shoot down imho).

SONY!

If there was one thing we learned from Titanfall release is that weekly VGC victories mean nothing. The only NPD XB1 has one so far is December and that was due to supply problems of the PS4. XB1 has about a 40%-60% chance of winning July because the PS4 isn't really countering with anything, at the same time Summer is a slow season for games so the effect will be diminished even if it manages to beat the PS4.
I predict all the consoles will be Sub near 100k.

The only console maker to hit 80M in all iterations is Sony so I would say that perhaps they are more impervious than Ms and Ninty. But no where, not even in life previous sucess guarantee future sucess, but it helps a lot.

Xbox has lost more than it has gained in the past weeks. Its next chance to try and catch up to the PS4 (in the US) is fall/winter.

Edit: I just want to clarify that I don't think a Halo collection and Sunset Overdrive will close that 500k gap.
