So he's basically saying that he meant that "Xbox One will have more units sold in the US by January 2015, and then start outselling it in the US (again) from there."

So outsell it in the US after already outselling it in the US.

For example X1 outsells wii u, but globally Wii u outsold X1

Its only a few hundred thousand behind. This can be easily made up this holiday season, especially black friday.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Not doubting that, but X1 may very well sell better in the US. We all know MS has a great track record with the holidays in the US over PS.

NPD numbers for April and May are going to be absolutely hilarious. Suuuuuuuuure XB1 has been outselling PS4 this month :P Suuuuuuuuuure VGC has been TOTALLY accurate and never has to do adjustments. They were SPOT ON in March weren't they?

Delusion is just remarkable. People adjust their own realities to fit their views.

I had to sign up after reading this topic just to thank the OP for the wonderful entertainment. Watching you try to wriggle and squirm your way out of these quotes is humourous. The phrase "digging yourself out of a hole" has never been more apt than right now. I'm going to implore you to give up trying to convince people you neither wrote it or meant the statement - it is very clear to everyone as much as you try.

On the PS4 vs X1 in the US; I think this is Sony's biggest battle for the next few years. I suspect they've already won global (the real definition of global can be applied here) sales and if they were to win the 'Battle of the US', so to speak, it would stand as complete domination going into future generations of gaming. They would automatically be on the front foot regardless.

VGC is notoriously wrong and constantly adjusting numbers from the past as more data comes in.   i strongly suggest you wait until NPD results before you start digging yourself deeper
