Because a lot of people dont buy a console just for what is available now and a lot of people dont forget the past either.

That's right ;) But Microsoft has also great games in the Pipeline ;) I believe it's just a matter of that exclusives you have and which games probably will be released on that console ;)

I can see that happening in America... this is not too far of a prediction.. maybe by 2016 though not 2015

I agree, but considering how sony stepped up efforts on exclusives throughout last gen and MS eased of the pedal and lost timed exclusives throughout the gen, people will naturally be cautious this time.

Who gives a shit about just the US. IS this what Microsoft are going to cling on to. Why not the world?

The PS4 will continue to outsell the Xbox one for years to come.

If a 450 dollar console with a year of XBL and Titanfall didn't push sales signifigantly last month. How is a 399 console gonna do it?

Also the PS4 has momentum, the Xbox One doesn't.

That's subjective. What isn't subjective is that the PS4 has the better version of multiplats.

 

OT: I think the X1 will overtake the PS4 in the U.S. by next March or maybe even by the end of this year.

Power of the almighty fairy tale you mean. Theres no infrastructure for the cloud to make everyone's X1 more powerful, nor will there be during the console's lifetime. You just have to think about it.

I dunno about dominating the US market. The idea i have of it is if you advertise enough, they will buy anything. Given that microsoft has more disposable incoming, i believe they can use that route effectively. I dont know how much money they are willing to lose to achieve it though, given its very unlikely they can reach number 1 worldwide.

That's not true!!! The PlayStation has not the better versions, the PlayStation has just the higher resolution in games, but this will also change with Direct X12 and the Kinectless SKU. And higher resolution means not that you have a great game, Killzone Shadow Fall as example is just an average game, and even a 4000x 3000 resolution will not make this game better or worse. It's not about the resolution of games, its about the games! I don't care about resolution for myself and I think that Super Mario Bros on the NES is more fun to play than Killzone: Shadow Fall ;)
