yes it's a good move casuals already have xbox360 with kinect anyway and hardcore gamers don't care about it

I can see why some people wouldn't like it. The vision for X1 moving forward has completely disappeared and MS promised multiple times it was integral and would never be removed #MS lied

Pretending this move is all puppies and rainbows is ridiculous, it may be great for consumers but this has come about because of poor sales so far this year. It is a worry going forward if MS so willingly abandon their plans

Games for gold is the best news of it all, im now thinking of subbing to live in June to start collecting games, for when i might get an xbox at xmas or early next year.

Breaking FFXIII's going multiplat record is going to be really difficult!

I think the general thought is that it was a good idea. If by negative you mean how some of us are sceptical on how this move will allow the Xstation to start outselling the ps4 in the US well the whole titan thing is a good place to start
