Forums - Microsoft Discussion - so much negativity... i think it's a good move from microsoft.

When the kinect bundle was first announced for 499 dollar i read that people wanted to buy it only without kinect. Now MS has finally decided to remove Kinect and offer it for 399. I think it's a good move and it will help them against the ps4 dominance.

They have invested much money into it and so on, but it's about bold decisions when it's not turning out there way and they did!!

I think it's a very good move! So why all the negativity?

What negativity?

The games with gold for xbox one and the deals are a great move, I liked a lot.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

I read a lot of post here since yesterday that are not very positive towards these decisions. I don't know why. Disgusted, 180 degrees and so on.

Grow up and deal with it. It's a great company decision.

Because console wars.

Ive not seen any, yeah theres people doing the 180 jokes, but thats not negativity just a fact. On the whole i think everyone agrees this is a good thing.

But people will poke fun at the execs that said just 3 months ago that kinect was integral, harmless banter.

Maybe negativity on this site, but around other sites its been pretty positive. To be honest, in general, I've only read mostly positive things here as well..

Yes, its a good move from Microsoft. And this is the main reason why big part of this site is negative on it.

The only person ive seen negative about it is Dark_Feanor and he is very much an xbox fan, so take your slander else where.

I think some of it has to do with their inability to admit wrong doing.

The video which accompanies the decision is a bit like "Oh yeah, we always planed to do this coz we get gamers and by the way the Kinect vision is totally uncompromised. We just like choice"

When i think most people would have preferred "We completely mis read the market and our hand has been forced"

That said an inability for a company to say we've got it wrong is hardly a MS specific problem.

Im more concerned on how few X1 consoles will be sold in the next 30 days
