Well as long as Im never thrown into mirror mode races Im fine I guess, still I liked spamming the one track until it was picked. Thats how you get to race on tracks you like.

Spamming is when you keep picking the same track even after it was just picked.

This is good, more variety in track selection. Trolls won't be able to spam rainbow road :P

They also can't spam any tracks with gamebreaking glitches (ex: Maka Wuhu), though hopefully Mario Kart 8 wont have any to begin with!

Ugh, yeah that was a bitch. Im happy for there to be unintended shortcuts in the game (MKWii had some awesome ones), but the Maka Wuhu glitch was awful. Especially when you were the 1st one to the glitch, because if you skip it and then someone takes it -_-

But Rainbow Road is the best and the only track you need to pl... oh wait no they fucked up N64 RR =(

How do you mess up something that's already terrible though?

So what if the Computer spams the same 3 random tracks 12 times in a row ?

Depends on how it's coded. A completely random choice of three could do as you say, but it's also possible that it's coded to prevent excessive repetition, either through a not-completely-random number generator or through detection of repetition. For instance, it might require that any particular track doesn't show up more than three times in any sequence of five sets. Alternatively, it could simply require that the last 20 track sets cannot have any two tracks both show up together twice - it's possible to get more than 100 such sets of three tracks without repeating that element, so requiring the last 20 should be easy enough.

lolz! Really they did fix up the original track's many problems!

-No longer a 6 minute snore fest. Now a 2 minute not as boring fest.

-Empty nothingness backround replaced by Paris-like city.

-You can actually hear the music over the car engines.

-No longer a complete disgrace to the Rainbow Road name as much of the railings have been removed.

-Ridiculously broken shortcut is no more.

-Still not much going on with the track, but it inherently has more depth with tricks, coins, gliding, anti-gravity, etc.

-No hype train, but now there is hype train!

It does sound like they fixed some of the bigger problems then, or at least took a crack at it. The devil's in the details and all, but it's good to hear Nintendo realized some of the track's many faults.

Well maybe the new Rainbow Road will be awesome, unlike MK7's -_-

They not only fucked the N64RR, but also made the new one worse than MK7.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

After the SNES Rainbow Road debacle that ruined online for Mario Kart 7, I welcome this with open arms.

Plus, you can choose from all 32 when playing with friends.

Yep yup, thanks to the improvements it's now a much more even battle between MK8's N64 RR and Wii U RR for the title of worst Rainbow Road ever! xD

What debacle? I've never heard of there being problems with SNES Rainbow Road.
