Nah we will just say "o well" and leave the thread. lol

Sadly, that's true. No banned people in the April NPD thread.
Although some of the troublemakers were already banned before the thread went up, so that played a role in the lack of rage too.

I think most people have gotten used to :
VGC inflating numbers WEEKLY for XB1 on a repetitive basis. Which leads to mistaken assumptions that XB1 is even close to PS4 this year. Which leads to disappointment when they get crushed come NPD release days.
Most XB1 fans are not insane. A few are (of every console/PC/etc). We can see clear evidence of this anyway. The definition of insanity is repeating the same behavior expecting different results. Expecting the XB1 to magically vault up the sales charts with no legitimate reason to produce such action IS insane. Hell, at this point believing VGC numbers for XB1 sales also qualifies as insane, until they fix the way data is collected/analyzed for those metrics. For example, this week they have it @ 30k. Well, 30k/week would mean 120k/May sales. Given that April had some time on the books before $399 SKU was announced AND had wider leftover availability of $449 bundles, it seems ludicrous to believe that 30k/week is possible for XB1 in May. Closer to 20k/week if anything. I'm predicting around 85k or slightly less, with even odds for WiiU to top it with the MK8 release.
That said, insane people tend to be the most entertaining. It would be boring if every XB1 zealot simply threw up their hands and said things like 'Well, XB1 is going to lose this gen pretty widely, and not even catch up in the US, but I'll still have a blast with mine'. It's much more fun to see people claim ludicrous things and get all bent out of shape. Desperately clinging to broken numbers, dreaming of an alternate reality where Microsoft didn't lose the plot.
