Wow Anfe, you're harsh with Wild Arms 2 :(

I freaking hate it! But I do have some tiny bit of love for it. It was one of my very first JRPG's! But I just hate it now that I played other games .

Isn't Wild Arms: Alter Code F a remake of Wild Arms 1?

It's not as good as the first game, not even close, but it was far from unplayable.  There are plenty of games I could have added that I wouldn't have because I thought it was a better game.  Final Fantasy 3, 10, 12, 13, Valkyrie Profile, Vagrant Story, Ni No Kuni, Pokemon Blue, Diamond, X, Dragon Quest 9, are available from the pool and I'd still skip to Vandal Hearts 2.  Other games I liked better than those I just listed that I still passed over were Atelier Totori, Phantasy Star, Phantasy Star 2, Destiny of an Emperor, etc.  It's not like Vandal Hearts 2 was all I had left to choose from, it's just what I thought the best game was out of the other games I've had to choose from. As I said earlier though, I forgot about Dragon's Crown and as of writing this Dragon Quest 8 comes to mind, so those two games would kick Vandal Hearts 2 off the list when I update it anyways.

Suikoden 5 I've only played 10 hours and apparently I was right next to getting the castle, but aside from not completing it so it wouldn't be on the list anyways, the first 10 hours in that game is what got me to quit due to how boring it was.

But there are also games I haven't played.  I've still yet to play Xillia, Xenoblade, Baten Kaitos, Radiant Historia, SMT Strange Journey, etc.  

There's also some JRPGs that I couldn't add to the list because they're technically not JRPGs if they're from a western developer.  Breath of Death 7 would be on this list and maybe the other games Zeboyd games has made whenever I get around to playing them. 

Yeah but it's a completely different, and not as good, game.  The gameplay, towns, dungeons, puzzles, etc, are all very different from the original.

Brigandine Grand Edition as well, except it was a remake on the same system.  There's a lot that changed to make it a very different game although similar. 

Tagged, I had no idea there was a sequel to Vandal Hearts!!

There's a third game as well.  Vandal Hearts Flames of Judgment.  PSN/XBL game.  I haven't played it, but I'd say don't bother.

Damn, i miss the free time i had as a Kid. I can't really hope to play 10 JRPGs per year nowdays, let alone do 100% on them.


I'm missing a lot of "recent" things there like Radiant Historia (NDS - Atlus) and Xenoblade chronicles.
You also picked FF Tactics Advance over the FF Tactics from playstation, and that is ..... odd . The advance one was entertaining, but the original one had a really superior story.

Also no Golden Sun... =/
