Forums - Gaming Discussion - For those whose only current gen console is Wii U!

Which library of games is enticing you more; the PS4 or Xbox One?

Xbox One 266 40.30%

PS4 285 43.18%

I don't own a Wii U / See results 104 15.76%

Total:655

I am a PC gamer, so that covers my second concsole question. However, if I ever did get another system it would be the PS4. LOL at the poll being so skewed, there are not 300 Wii U owners on this site lmao.

Every poll is skewed

If Sega decides to put Virtua Fighter on Steam, I will not get another console. Basically, I will buy the cheapest thing that lets me play Virtua Fighter 6.

I have a gaming PC besides WiiU as far as current gen goes (although i have a PS3 for last gen).
Right now i don't care for neither the PS4 nor the XBO exclusives, but if i had to choose i'd go for XBO since i'm a little curious about Killer Instinct.

As for what to choose between when the time comes for purchasing PS4 or XBO? Whichever version of FFXV and Soul Calibur 6 is the best. So PS4 is the most likely future purchase.

Neither. I have Titanfall on PC and the other games don't interest me.

And as you said yourself "I ask because other Nintendo fans, including myself, seem to have begun leaning towards the Xbox One.". I checked your profile and it said you're American, and in the USA the Xbox brand is the biggest. If you would ask a Nintendo fan from Asia or Europe they would say that they lean more towards PS4, I can guarantee that. Especially Japan.

I learn more towards Xbox One than PS4 and I'm not American.

And I hope you will be very satisfied if you buy the X1. :)

But I'm sure you get my point, that where you live will have affect in which system you buy. In the end, no doubt, more people will have bought the PS4 in Japan than the X1. And the same will happen in Europe. And the opposite for North America, where more people will buy the X1.

I believe visitors can also vote, not just members.

I actually expect PS4 to outsell Xbone even in the US.

But yes, I see your point, that region affects preference.

Xbone for software, I guess...maybe, but PS4 for hardware definitely. Still not interested in getting either.

So far, both system's libraries are quite underwhelming to me. Actually, I had a lot of fun playing Titanfall on my friend's XB1, but unfortunately, I'm just not big on online multiplayer games. And nothing on PS4 interests me so far.

However, I'd have to base this on what we know they have in store for the future and in that regard PS4 wins for me. Unless XB1 surprises me with a new really good Banjo and Blastcorps, I don't see anything on the console outshining Uncharted (and to a lesser extent, God of War) on Sony's system.
