Anyway, the Xb one hardware numbers seem pretty right to me. Possibly very slightly high but not by anything significant. PS4 looks way too high. 200K is probably closer to correct.

This guy has already been proved to be wrong before. He's just making it up.

He also is always biased toward PS4 if you notice. The time he was proved wrong was when he said PS4 outsold X1 in UK week of Titanfall release, which was later incorrect according to CVG/MCV.

So his numbers always show PS4 winning by a lot, per his bias.

This week numbers seems close to the mark, but they have had several mistakes already.

Waiting for people to say you promote their site because you are actually the owner.

So for you VGC is biased towards X1 because it have its sales above PS4 everyweek since long ago in USA, but it keep being shown incorrect by NPD?

Agreed. I have a feeling the numbers are sourced from here with a fanboy twist. I have my suspicions. 


I wouldn't doubt someone using data from here and just twitching a little (a different site could favor X1 and we don't know yet) in favor of PS4 and saying they are industry insider (well if they work for VGC they are somewhat an industry insider)...

And they probably laugh at the threads posted here with their "credible numbers".

If you have time compare their numbers with VGC and try to find a trend, you may be able to prove the connection.

I know you didn't said it (and probably it isn't), I just said that if the guy worked for VGC he could say (through really tortuous logic) that he is an insider.

Before they were completely wrong but now they're just taking VGC numbers and adjusting them in line with the general consensus of opinion on this very forum. Bad mouthing the site or accusing members of running the site is not constructive in any way and only derails any discussions other people want to have.

Man, I wouldn't be sure of this inference. It seems more like you preemptively defending by attacking. This could even be seen as a case of the "if the shoe fitted".

You took a statement of "a frequent user" as being a reference to you? There are many frequent users. A statement that wide isn't an inference.

if I want to bad mouth insiderp I will bad mouth them. It is on topic and it is my opinion. It's clearly a fanboy site. There is no doubt.

Detail is that one of the possibilities is frequent user (and it is what you suspect) not a direct claim. So the guy would have a bigger onus than you on this.
